You have likely heard of the names in the title of this post. They are some of the top sales training programs available.
There are, however, a few more which are worthy of your attention. You might be familiar with these. If you aren’t, you should add them to the list of courses to compare when shopping for a program to train your salespeople.
Tom Hopkins International
Tom Hopkins wrote one of the all-time best books for salespeople, “How to Master the Art of Selling.” If you haven’t read this book, it’s a must — it is a seminal and important work which covers the technical foundation of sales — including the basic closes every salesperson should know. I can vouch for the effectiveness of what Tom Hopkins teaches because I and many other sales trainers teach a lot of the same techniques. They are universal, basic, and they just plain work to put money in your pocket.
I would list his courses, based on his books, as some of the top corporate sales training programs in the world. To find out more, head over to the Tom Hopkins International website where you will find his offerings, along with free tips and training schedules. Highly recommended.
Zig Ziglar was a legendary trainer, known for his ability to engage and motivate his trainees like few others could. There is a reason most sales trainers, including myself, quote him — he knew how to inspire action in others.
In addition to the top sales training programs, there are courses on personal development, family relationships, and business ownership. The website offers online training, podcasts, and even some memes with Ziglar quotes for your perusal.
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a discipline developed in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California. Practitioners seek to influence outcomes by understanding and using the connections between the mind, language, and human behavior. While some claim that NLP is not based on sound science, it nonetheless is practiced by many sales professionals who vouch for its efficacy.
The iNLP Center, endorsed by the founders of NLP, offers a sales training course based on NLP principles and is applicable to real world situations.
What kind of sales trainer would I be if I didn’t mention my own top sales training programs? Of course I am saving the best for last! : )
Asher offers a full complement of sales training services particularly geared towards B2B and government salespeople (but still applicable to B2C). Supporting these core training services are the Craft Personality Questionnaire (sales aptitude test), sales coaching, sales process improvement, and much more.
